A weekend plus 1

This weekend was quite a crazy one. The people involved are, Ravi, Chu Hui, Pei Lin, Tat, Mong, Jackson, Hei Lek, Irene and me. (Jackson, from the steamboat onwards)

Saturday,

It started with me waking up at 8am to read my notes and do some exercise on Basic Management, Accounting and Economics. At 2 pm, I went for my exam without proper lunch. I am gonna sidetrack a bit. Following are the Tete's theories during examination.

1. Must at least gone through every chapter that is coming out.

2. Must at least take a short nap just before the exam.

3. Must go to the exam with style (set hair and dress nicely).

4. Must not eat anything heavy (a bar of chocolate will be enough)

Well, that's about my theory. I went in, used 30 mins out of the 90 mins time duration to finish the questions and came out. Walked back hoping to get a pack of nasi lemak on the way but they ran out of sambal...and chicken...so, I ended up not eating lunch. About 4pm we went for a movie, The Proposal. It was a nice movie which started out with a boss proposing to her secretary for her selfish needs but...you know where this goes with that "but".

Sandra Bullock still looks beautiful despite the wrinkles. After the movie we had crabs as the main dish for our dinner! The crabs were huge! Not those tiny meatless ones. The night ended with mahjong tiles hitting against each other and blackjack. A little bit of liquor in between...a little.

Sunday,

Some of us went to the market to get stuff for that night's steamboat dinner. The rest...continued sleeping and I was one of them. Wakaka...We got prepared and set off later to Dreambox where some of us sang our lungs out and some...just sang with their lungs intact. Haha...Right after that, we went to catch another movie...ORPHAN.

The story line was good and the sound effect scared me...This movie is something like Chucky Child's Play (the human soul that got transferred into a doll body and kills people) just that the killer this time is a girl or should I say woman (you'll know why when you watch the movie). Throughout the movie, I was whispering (Oh my god...no...no...) and cursing (shit...fuck lo...whatthefuck...cb...). That was how I reacted to the movie...Then we went back, on the way getting some McD so as not to starve waiting for the steamboat and a small cake to celebrate Hei Lek's birthday. After all the boiling, eating and cleaning up, we lighted up the candle and sang a birthday song for Hei Lek...Later, mahjong tiles again, some liquor again and blackjack again before I retired to bed while they continued with DOTA.

Monday,

Woke up this morning, quite early I suppose...to a game of DOTA cause I missed last night's action. Lost like crap...Everybody wash up and we went to Mahkota Parade to land ourselves at Baskin' Robbins. It was my first time eating ice-cream here and I bought the smallest cup they got with Marcadamia and Mango Tango ice-dream mixed in it. It costed me RM18.50 after tax for it. Luckily today there was offer of 30% for it. If not, I will be paying RM 25.50 before tax for it. I got a whole cup for myself...hehehe

The pic was a bit blurry maybe because of the dim lighting and my shaking hands. Well, I finished it. The girls went to shop while we boys went to the bowling alley. I suck at bowling so I am not gonna elaborate on how I suck. After that we met up again and Ravi, Chu Hui and Pei Lin went on their way back to Klang again.

For this weekend, my face grew lots of pimples...gotta be patient and slowly nurture my face back again...That's all. Almost forgot...actually more like didnt even care...Happy Independence Day...

Puasa till like that?

I was on my way to campus when I saw this...

When I saw the car like that, the driver (the woman standing there) was still in the car. The funny thing was that she was trying to reverse back to the road WITH 3 WHEELS touching the ground. I went like WTH WTH. There is actually a drain in between the land and the road and she was trying to reverse...the car seemed like it wanted to overturn everytime she tried reversing. Finally she gave up...Thank goodness!

After confirming its safe, I approached the car from the left side of the window and knocked on it. I signalled to the driver whether she was okay (the thumb and pointing finger touching together with the 3 other fingers pointing upwards gesture) She just nodded and continued on her phone talking to someone.

Then came 3 International Students. One of them went to the driver side and asked her to come out. Awhile after that, more people poured in on the scene and that is when I took the picture and left the scene. She is fine and she got more than enough help to get her car out of there and I got a class to attend.

Judging by the way she reacted, I think it was her own clumsiness. Most probably she dozed off an went up the side of the road. Tired people should not never drive!

Hello from Japan (Mr. Beh Siao Lin)

"Hello from Japan! :
Dear students,
I have safely reached Japan, and attached is a picture as my greeting to all of you.
Back to fluid mechanics assignment matters: some students have not done the lucky draw. So these students have to submit all 10 questions on the date of submission.
Till then, take care. "
He (my lecturer) freaking uploaded this in MMLS, MMU's Multimedia Learning System where you download learning stuffs from...
After reading this I was like....WTH! Are you trying to make us jealous? Well, congrats cause you made me jealous...But you also made me determined to go to Japan one day!
Comments: he is a one of a kind lecturer you can never find anywhere else!

Eyes and smile breaks my defense

Nowadays MMU Malacca has quite a number of pretty girls. Most of them puts make up and some of them has on quite thick make up compared to others. It's like suddenly all the girls knows how to beautify themselves.

But so far, all the girls i fell for are the one's that mesmerized me with their glittering eyes and beatiful smile. Make up to me is secondary aspect. Too much and the person looks like a ghost. Just a little should be alright but like I said, its not that important to me. What I really look for is, like I said, glittering eyes and a beautiful wide smile. Only a handful of people has these traits.

Last Friday I met a girl with these features. Her smile was sweet and looking into her eyes stunned me. It's like a pair of hands caressing me cheek softly and holding it in position so that I couldnt look away.

Too bad there is a very strong gap that cannot be closed, belief. Today I accidentally bump into her again and she remembered me and said hi. I replied her with a hi and she chuckled. So cute...

...is nothing but...

Lately, I am having another lecturer, an Indian lecturer, that speaks with a slang. This is the third lecturer so far that speaks like this. What I mean by a slang?

First : A sentence that has "is nothing but" in between. Eg. This equation is nothing but Ns = ......

Second : circuit is pronounced as cir-cute.

Third : The letter "A" is pronounced as "yay".

Fourth : Anything with the letter "r" is sort of highlighted. Others are sort of monotone.

Fifth : Takes a breath to speak 2-3 sentences.

I am not racist or anything but this type of thing interests me the way their mother tongue influences the way they speak. Some international lecturer also have a slang. Then the problem with students (well bcoz most of the students in MMU is chinese) is that they themselves have their slang. So everybody is like an alien to anybody else.

Midterm Break!!

Hell Yeah! I got a week holiday!

All those assignments, lab reports, midterm test, quizzes, social work, presentation can get the hell outta my face for awhile. It has been so very annoying having all these things bugging me. It's like listening to fingernails scratching on a wooden surface which produces screeches that makes you wanna take a hammer and slam it on whoever's hand it is.

The first thing that spoiled my holiday....I havent reached home and it already disturbed my happiness. It is the F***ING POLLUTED AIR. My throat is so darn itchy right now because of the polluted air. You know what....screw the censorship! FUCK YOU INDONESIAN AGRICULTURE! FUCK YOU FOR RUINING MY HOLIDAY MOOD!

Now that that has been released...I feel somewhat better. HAPPY HOLIDAYS STUDENTS OF MMU.

Someone once told me...

Knowledge is obtained through your own effort and hard work. Keep it up!

"A's" are for God, "B's" are for lecturers, "C's" are for students and "F's" are for animals.

A good leader will always be the first person to arrive and the last person to leave.

Try to smile no matter what, cause you never know when your smile could lighten up someone's day as well as it will lighten up mine.

There are two types of leader, "THE EFFECTIVE - result based without considering the procedure" and "THE EFFICIENT - procedure based without considering the results"

Success is not Final and Failure is not Fatal

Original version
"If it doesn't kills you, it will only make you stronger"
My version
"CHARGE!!! unless you are dead..."

The medium of transfer is not what matters, it's the value of the content!

This is what I told myself: Bullshit lecturer + Insufficient notes = YOU ARE SCREWED!
